Lots of news to kick off the Fall: Look out for Scott in upcoming issues of Rise Music Magazine and Unsigned Music Magazine. Scott is also now contributing to the guitar instructional site Guitars-for-ever.com. Visit the site to see his article on influences and practicing. Also, the band is still auditioning Drummers, but look for some more live shows in December. More on this when dates are confirmed.

Seattle and Portland shows cancelled; Reno show moved: Sorry to all of the fans in the Pacific Northwest, but it looks like we will have to cancel our shows at the Paris Theater, and Central Saloon at this time. Not to worry though, we will find time to play in your area very soon. Thanks so much for your support and keep on rockin'. Also note that the Reno show has been postponed to July 29th.

By the way, WLBW will be available in the online store in mid-April '06. Look for it in a store near you soon thereafter, but in the meantime see the review if you need more convincing. Scott Allen is being featured in the current issue of Guitar Player Magazine (January 2006) in Mike Varney's spotlight column! This is a major honor, given that previous spotlight guitarists include: Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, and Yngwie Malmsteen. Check out ernieball.com to hear two tracks from What Lies Beyond Words (WLBW), as well as tracks by other spotlight guitarists on ernie ball radio. In other SAP news, the band has begun rehearsals for upcoming shows in support of the re-release of WLBW. Look for SAP in a town near you beginning in Spring 2006!

This winter holds more than a few huge surprises for the SAP crew. For starters, Guitar Nine Records has featured the Scott Allen Project as their Undiscovered Artist of The Month of November. Check it out here: Click on "More info," then "Undiscovered Artists" and finally, select Scott Allen Project to see the feature (where you can also download a few MP3s).

In other news, SAP is finally in collaboration with CCNow.com, allowing sales of the Sampler CD via the website. Also, keep your eyes peeled for some new photos on the site. That's all for today!

98Rock! The Scott Allen Project was played on 98 Rock (98.5 FM for most of Northern California) a couple weeks ago and we aim to turn such occurrences into a more regular deal. If you'd like to play your part, put in a good word to 98 Rock's open ears at mgilmore@entercom.com. Send them an email requesting that more SAP be played on Sacramento's Rock Radio and tell them God sent you.
